No visit to Idaho is complete without a stop at Grandpa's Farm!
Trent's Dad owns about 5,000 acres in Daniels Valley in South Eastern Idaho.
It is simply gorgeous!
See that little house by the shed? That's where Trent grew up.
No joke. His family would spend the summers living on the ranch and
would move back to town for the Winter.
You better believe they did not have TV. They played lots of rounds of the farming game.
He has wonderful memories living there.
A few weeks later we were able to go help cut the wheat!
Jackson loved riding in the combine. He even got to drive it himself - what a big boy.
Grandpa Don was very brave and took all 3 Grandkids that were visiting
for a ride in the Big Tractor by himself...
for a ride in the Big Tractor by himself...
at the same time! Thankfully everyone survived.
But our favorite part of the day was playing in the grain trucks.
There's nothing like the feeling of freshly cut wheat kernels in-between your toes!
Anyone want a PB&J with a little grain?
Jackson absolutely loved it.
He especially liked driving his trucks on the side of the grain truck
Make sure you look at the Mountains in the background....Gorgeous!

My favorite part was when he figured out he could take the bucket of wheat and dump it on my head.
Nothing like a little grain to bring out the shine in your hair.

No wonder you want to go back to Idaho - that property is beautiful! That's so awesome that you get to take your kids there and have them spend some "time on the farm".
