We celebrated Independence Day this year
Even though it wasn't our typical Independence day,
it didn't stop us from dressing up appropriately
in our Red, White, and Blue.
Speaking of being patriotic,
aren't my toes awesome?!?
Thanks to my lovely sister in law Allison
for sharing her Jamberry Nail Shields and letting
my toes be patriotic!
Anyways back to Sea World
and away from pictures of my feet...
Jackson absolutely LOVED all the aquariums.
He was fascinated by them and would have stood
and stared at the fishies all day if we'd let him.

We dined on Shamu Pretzels and Shamu Icecream
And patriotic Jell-O
But don't worry...
we ate healthy things too.
Like Churros.
And of course we partied with the
one and only Shamu!!!
We saw lots of crazy cool animals
of the deep blue ocean,
like Starfish
Dolphins
Sharks (swimming above us in the shark tunnel)
plus Walrus, Turtles, Penguins, Beluga Whale,
Polar Bears, Nemo, and Dorey.
We also had fun riding the skytower, the bayside skyride,
and just exploring Sea World.
Jackson loved playing in the bouncy area designed for only those 36" and under.
Until the little girl stole his yellow square.
How dare she!
But she made up for it when she brought him
her dad's camera to play with...
We finished off our grand independence day
by watching the fireworks from Shamu Stadium
after watching the new show, Shamu Rocks!
It was a great presentation complete with the best music
and inspiring quotes.
You better believe I got a little teary - eyed...
I am so grateful for those who have served our
country to protect our freedoms.
I love this country,
and am proud to be an American!
Overall we had a great day, but perhaps
my favorite moment was when we got
up close and personal with Shamu...

We made sure to catch the new show,
Cirque de la Mer, which showed amazing
acrobatic feats of the ancient merpeople.
Or something like that.
