Munchkin #2

I realized I haven't been doing as many updates on Baby #2 as maybe I should've...
Sorry lil' babe.
I'm just a wee bit busy with your crazy big brother and school
and the house and cooking and cleaning and...you get the picture.
But I love you just the same.

So here is a little update about my sweet boy.

14 weeks

20 Weeks

24 Weeks

Unfortunately the only picture where my face looked decent was blurry...

But at least my bump is still cute, if I do say so myself :)

30 Weeks

You my little one are quite the active boy!
I often feel you kicking at opposite ends of my stomach at the same time.
But every time Dad tries to feel you, you stop moving.
Then the minute he takes his hand off you are doing acrobatics again.

You have also given us a few scares...
Spending several hours in the hospital due to mild contractions
was not our ideal way to kick off spring break. But I loved listening to your heartbeat on the monitor.
The Dr. gave me a shot to calm things down, with orders to take it easy this week.
Thankfully everything looked healthy and I have not started dilating yet.
Good thing we never booked that hotel in California like we were thinking of doing...
And it also means that I'm not allowed to mop the floor anymore!
(considering that's probably what caused our little episode).
Dad is so excited that he is in charge of keeping the floors clean.

Also - you have a bright spot on the left valve in your heart.
You better believe your Dad and I were worried and scared when we first found out.
We had a second level ultrasound done, which was very in-depth and took about 45 minutes.
They measured all of your little body parts and thankfully everything looked healthy.

I want you to know little one that you are already so loved.
Thank you to all those who offered prayers and fasting on behalf of our little family.
We are so grateful for the people in our lives, and we can't wait to meet you.
I am so excited (and nervous) to have another infant in our home.
Jackson already loves you too - he likes to kiss my belly and pray for 'bay-ee' (baby).

I love you my sweet baby boy!!

Sarah, You are now officially logged in my brain as one of the cutest pregnant women I know. Meaning if someone says "cute pregnant" you are going to pop in my head!! Sorry to hear of you scare. Congrats on being prego again. Thinking of you, Hollie
