In celebration of the holiday last week, we headed up north to Sedona!!
With landscape that rivals the beauty of the Grand Canyon, Sedona was a wonderful place to escape for a quick weekend. We decided to ride the Trolley throughout the city, and ended up at the Chapel of the Holy Cross. This non-denominational chapel is literally built right into the red rock and is beautiful.
Isn't my new pano-ramic setting on my camera AWESOME?!?!
We spent some time in the 'village' of Tlaquepaque, fashioned after Guadalajara, Mexico.
We made sure to appreciate the beautiful, inspiring, and uplifting artwork and sculptures and eating lots of yummy food. Can you say Snickers Caramal Apple? Delicious!
I love these 2 boys.
On our way home we made a pit stop at Montezuma's Castle.
Amazing.
This ancient Indian ruin was built around 1200 a.d. and was home to about 50 people. Can you imagine?
Makes me a little bit more grateful for my apartment...
Jackson loved being a Jr. Ranger...
...and I loved taking creative photos!
We had a wonderful time and are so grateful for this amazing world Heavenly Father has given us.
