Ours was nice, but very low-key. We went to the Easter Pageant at the LDS temple, which was incredible. Seeing the life of Christ portrayed was a touching experience, especially the atonement and resurrection. I was so touched during the final scene, wih the entire Cast on stage, angels on top, and then the risen Lord rose up above all with his arms outstreched.
When we were getting ready to leave, I didn't want to. I was hoping I could run up and be with the Christ character...but the thought came to me that if I live worthily and endure well the time will come that I can stay with Christ through all eternity.
I also spoke today in church, with my topic being how we are not alone in the trials we endure. It was a very neat topic to research, and I decided to emphasize how because Christ "descendeth below all things, he comprehendeth all things". In other words, because Christ suffered through our sins and infirmities, he knows exactly how to comfort us.
I found this video of Jeffrey R. Holland's message from Conference put to touching music, photos, and excerpts of videos from lds.org, and I quoted probably about half of what the video plays. His talk was so touching (and probably my favorite one) and his message of how because Christ suffered and walked alone, we do not need to do so, is incredible. Happy Easter, and may we always remember that through our Risen Lord we can be comforted, cleansed, and gain eternal life. I know from personal experience that he will comfort us, and I know that my Redeemer lives.

Thanks for that neat post you guys! I am glad you got to go to the temple producton. I think I went there when I went on a trip to AZ about 7 years ago. It is so cool!!

Yea their picture was cute!! We do have a large collection it's kinda fun to look back on all of them.
